Jacksons herald return of Audi to island

Audi, one of the most iconic global motoring brands, is returning to the island after a 14 year absence.

This return is one welcomed by Jacksons, who have managed the Audi brand for many years in the Channel Islands, but also by the experienced Jacksons team, as Parts Manager Paul Ledsham explained. “The whole team, from sales to servicing, are really excited to officially announce the news That Audi are returning. For four of our technical, servicing and after-sales team, including myself, it is even more exciting as we have all worked with the brand before when it was held by Corkills, so it ensures we can offer our customers a very high level of expertise from day one.”

Head of Sales Nigel Clayton, whose family dates back over 250 years on the island, explained that securing the Audi dealership was just a matter of time. “As a Group, we’ve had very strong relations with Audi for many years and as you would expect from such an iconic brand, everything had to be perfect before we could officially announce this exciting news. We will certainly be looking to put on a special launch event in the very near future, but the first official sale of a new Audi has already completed and being delivered to a local customer this week. The symbolic 4 ring logo is up, a small fleet of new Audi’s are on their way, and our teams are raring to go, it’s a great moment for us, and a real bonus to island Audi fans.”

One of the core principles of the German marque has been ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’, meaning advancement through technology, a slogan that was first introduced in 1971 for the now legendary NSU Ro80. The company then evolved to dominate motorsport, from the early Quattro era that was to change the face of rallying to 13 Le Mans victories. Premium quality, innovative technology and an almost unrivaled sporting heritage, the return of Audi is another great addition to Jacksons multi-brand line up.

Jacksons are now able to arrange all new and used Audi sales or leasing, fully manufacturer approved servicing, warranty repairs and parts.
